High School Presentations
WWAMI's EduMed is a program that is managed and supported primarily by volunteer medical students of the WWAMI Medical Program and pre-professional students of University of Idaho and Washington State University. The primary objectives of EduMed are to serve & improve the health of the surrounding community by:
- Educating youth about health risks specific to their age group
- Educating youth about the services available to them to improve their health
- Helping youth feel more comfortable about visiting healthcare professionals and utilizing their services
- Educating youth about the opportunities available in a healthcare profession
- Providing an opportunity for future healthcare providers to serve the community and share knowledge and skills.
