SAC Tutors

Meet our current tutors:

Renae Shrum:

She is a graduate student in the Statistics Department, with an undergraduate business degree in accounting.
Renae also has taken 150 with Ann Abbott, 271 (which was 251 and 262 together for business majors) from Dr. Shafii, and 401 with Ann Abbott in previous semesters in addition to other upper level/graduate statistics classes. 
Yaqiao Zhang

She graduated in December of 2006 with a business degree in Information Systems.  She has taken 401 from Dr. Kirk Steinhorst.  Yaqiao has started graduate work in statistics Fall 2007.

Kedar Koirala

Graduated a few years ago with a MS in Statistics.  Also worked in the S.A.C. at that time as well.  He is now working on a PhD in Civil Engineering.

 
Niu Yang

He is working on a double B.S. major in pure mathematics and mathematics with applied statistics.  He also works in the calculus room.

Deb was a former SAC tutor coordinator.  She has an MS in Statistics as well as one in wildlife.

Dan an undergraduate student in the Mathematics department. Previously, he has taken 301 with Judi Terrio and 401 with Dr. Brian Dennis.

Jennifer Bindner

She is a business major, with emphasis in financial planning.  Jennifer has taken 251 with Dr. Kirk Steinhorst, and tutored both privately and in a lab situation for several semesters.  She will be starting graduate school in Denver in January.

She is a graduate student in statistics.  Worked in the S.A.C. for a semester before she got a TA position.

He has a math major and graduated in May 2007,  and has started graduate work in statistics in Fall 2007.  Zach has taken 301 with Judy Terrio, and 401 with Dr. Kirk Steinhorst in addition to other upper level/graduate statistics classes and math classes.
