Come Work for the SAC!

Job: Tutor at the Statistics Assistance Center (S.A.C.) for upcoming semesters (fall 2008 and spring 2009). Tutors help students with undergraduate level statistics courses that include Statistics 150, 251, 301, and 401. Assist students with homework problems, test preparations, and conceptual development. Students visit the S.A.C. on a drop in basis.     

Qualifications: Minimum – Have taken Math 170 and 175 (Differential and Integral calculus is required for Statistics 301), Statistics 251, 271, or 301, and Statistics 401 (or equivalent) and received an A.  Also, need to be friendly, have experience working with people, and quick to learn new things.

Pay: $10 - $16 depending on experience.

Hours: Flexible, with a maximum of 10-12 hours per week. Starts August/September 2008 or January 2009.
