Purpose
The Ombuds Office assists
university employees with
campus-related concerns and with preventing and/or
resolving problems
affecting them as employees. University
ombuds
- Listen
to concerns and respond to complaints of any staff, faculty, or administrator
of the university community.
- Provide confidential, informal, and impartial
problem-solving, conflict resolution, and conciliation
services.
- Complement
and not supplant UI policies and
procedures, including formal appeal and grievance policies and procedures.
