UI Faculty/Staff International Resources

There are a variety of ways that faculty and staff at the University of Idaho can gain international experience. Whether by studying, teaching, or researching abroad; by incorporating an international dimension into their classes, or even by leading a course overseas.  Faculty members are also a critical component to helping their students gain international experience by performing a variety of advising functions.

You can find resources within this website that include the following:

Inviting a research assistant (J-1 Scholar) to work with you at the UI.

Inviting a visiting professor (H1-B faculty) to the UI.

International Friendship Association - Find out about the international culture kits you can use in a class.  Would you like to be a friendship family to an international student?  Do you have a bike or household items you would like to donate for international students to use?  The IFA has it all.

Creating your own study abroad program - Teach a UI course abroad where you can include aspects from the host country or culture.
