Bike Loan Program Policy

To borrow a bike*, students must agree to:

• use the bike on a regular basis

• sign a liability waiver

• pay a bike deposit ($15-25)

• purchase and use a bike lock

• park in bike racks only

• return the bike before leaving the university

If your borrowed bike is lost or stolen:

• contact IFA immediately- we will try to recover your bike (denisek@uidaho.edu)

• your deposit will not be refunded unless the bike is found

• you will not be allowed to borrow another bike from the program

* Program bikes may be borrowed as they are available.  We will determine if there is a bike available that fits your needs.  If a bike is available, but not ready to loan, a volunteer will spend time teaching the borrower how to repair it.
