Pre-Arrival Checklist

  • Make housing arrangements prior to your arrival in Moscow.

  • Email your travel plans to alcp@uidaho.edu two weeks before your arrival.  If you are flying into the Moscow-Pullman aiport (airport code PUW), you may request to be picked up from the airport.  We do not pick up students from the Spokane airport.

  • If you are sponsored by an organization, notify this organization of your plans.

  • Make travel arrangements to arrive on campus at least one day before orientation.

  • Buy traveler's checks to cover costs on the way to the university and during your first month in the U.S.  Keep the receipt separate from the traveler’s checks.

  • Get copies of medical records, x-rays, and prescriptions.  Also, have prescriptions written in English and in generic terms.

  • Label your luggage inside and outside, with the IPO address in Moscow.
