Location:                               Athens, Greece
Eligibility:
                              Junior Standing, 2.7 GPA
Language of Instruction:
      English

Academic Program: 
Direct university enrollment in the following areas:

Art & Archaeology • Classical Languages • Environmental Studies • Ethnography • History • International Relations • Literature • Modern Greek Language • Philosophy • Political Science • Religion

    Fall:                                    Early September - Late December
    Spring:                               Mid-January - Mid-May

Program fee (subject to change): Covers: tuition, room, some meals, excursions, orientation, cultural activities, academic center, local transportation tickets, cell phone.

    One Semester:                  $17,550 (10-11 fees, 11-12 not yet posted)
    Academic Year:                  $31,800 (10-11 fees, 11-12 not yet posted)

  • In addition to CYA program fees paid to CYA, students will be charged the following fees to their UI student account (payable to UI Bursar):
                                          
                                           $150 Application fee
                                           $400/semester UI registration/programming fee

2012 SUMMER PROGRAM

Location:                              Athens, Paros or Santorini, Greece
Eligibility:                             Junior Standing & 2.7 GPA
Language of Instruction:
        English

Academic Programs:
2012 courses TBA.  Courses offered in 2011 in the areas of:

Ancient Greek Civilization • Archaeology •  Modern Greek Language & Culture • Service-Learning/Anthropology • Religion

Housing:

Courses offered between End of May and Early July.

Program fee (subject to change): Covers: tuition, housing, course material, a farewell lunch or dinner and, where applicable, field trips and extra-curricular activities.

Program fees for Summer 2012: TBA

Summer 2011 course fees ranged from: $2800-$3600

  • In addition to CYA program fees paid to CYA, students will be charged the following fees to their UI student account (payable to UI Bursar):
                                          
                                           $150 UI non-refundable application fee
                                           $300 UI registration/programming fee
