Courses and Credit
All
major and minor areas offered at UI are available through
the GlobaLinks' network of 62 universities. Courses
available depend on the university chosen. All courses are graded
and students receive an official transcript from the university they
attend. The UI transfers credit from the GlobaLinks universities
as pass/fail.

Program Dates
Typically, the Australia and New Zealand academic years
begin in February and end in November. Semester 1
running from February through June. Semester 2 running
from July through November.

Program Fees
Students pay GlobaLinks directly for AustraLearn, EuroLearn fees, or
AsiaLearn fees. See

current program fees and inclusions.

UI Fees
All students will pay a $150 UI application fee when they
apply plus the following UI
registration/programming fees.

Eligibility
Students must have completed one year of university study to
be eligible. A few GlobaLinks universities require junior
standing. Each university in the GlobaLinks network has
a different GPA requirement ranging from 2.5 to 3.2. For
students at or above the minimum GPA of the university they
wish to attend, GlobaLinks makes the acceptance in their
Colorado office versus sending it overseas.

Internships in Australia,
New Zealand, and China
GlobaLinks offers students three different types of
internship experiences
- A combined semester abroad with classes at a university and
part-time internship
- Full-time, for-credit internship placements for 10 weeks for
specific majors.
- Custom-designed internships, which are full-time non-credit
internships for any major in any field, at length you
decide.

Research/Internships in Europe
EuroLearn offers research and internship opportunities as a part of
their
EuroScholars Abroad program. These opportunities are for
advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students. Students will
take 1-2 courses plus work directly with professors on a specific
research project chosen by the student and professor.

Important Note: Some GlobaLinks
universities and opportunities have earlier deadlines,
please see their respective websites for details. Also, some
sites may fill prior to their application deadlines. You are
encouraged to apply early to ensure a spot on a program.
