The Survival Guide is an essential booklet, addressing issues of safety, health, travel, registration, financial aid, and much more.  Please read the Survival Guide very carefully, and ask the UI Study Abroad Office if you have any questions.

UI Students:

*** Towards the middle of the semester before you study abroad, you will be added to a Blackboard class for Outgoing Study Abroad Students. Please read through the information and take the quizzes. You will NOT be approved to study abroad until you have passed the quizzes with a score of 100%.***

Non-UI Students:
If you are studying abroad through the UI but not originally a UI student, you are considered a "Non-UI Student".  This also pertains to students who have applied to the UI as degree-seeking students for financial aid purposes.
