Study Abroad
Orientation Schedule
There will be a mandatory orientation for all UI students
planning to study abroad, to be held in the Commons. Each orientation session will cover important topics such as culture shock,
what to pack, safety, travel, and much more. The orientation is extremely important, and there
will be a $100 penalty fee for UI students who do not attend.
For those students who have a valid reason why they cannot attend
orientation (class trip, serious family emergency, etc.), they will be given
the opportunity to attend a make-up orientation. Students who
also do not attend the
makeup orientation will be penalized with the $100 fee.
(NOTE: Non-University of Idaho students are encouraged, but
are not required, to
attend orientation.)
Orientation for Spring 2012 Study Abroad Participants
- Saturday, October 29th from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm in the Commons
Clearwater/Whitewater Rooms (1st floor)
