University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Life Sciences (LIFE) Application

In order to be nominated as an exchange student to LIFE, please turn in the following. If your
exchange application is accepted, you will then receive an application and instructions directly
from LIFE.

Preferred Application Deadlines:

For Fall or Academic Year:    April 1
For Spring:    October 1
For Summer:    March 15

Note:  Some programs fill prior to the application deadlines.  Students should apply early to ensure a spot on the program.  Also, the UI Study Abroad Office will consider additional applicants after these deadlines provided space is still available on the program.
 

Refund Policies:

  • The $150 application fee is non-refundable

  • The $200 deposit is refundable if you withdraw before the application deadlines listed above.

  • The entire program fee is non-refundable if you cancel your program after the official program start date.

Semester/Year Application Pack:

  • UI LIFE Application (pdf)
  • Official transcripts from all universities and colleges that you have attended.
    UI Transcript Request form (pdf) (UI Students only) - please write "UI Study Abroad" in the "Mail to" box
        
       * Applicants will first submit an unofficial transcript to the IPO, and will later submit an official transcript to LIFE*

  • A $350 application fee/deposit ($200 of which will be deducted off your program fee) will be charged to your UI Student Account. Non-UI students should send a check (payable to UI BURSAR) with their application materials.

  • (UI Students only) Disciplinary Clearance Form

  • (Non-UI students only) Transfer Credit Letter of Understanding (pdf)
