Steps to Applying to KCP:

Complete KCP Application (KCP website) and additional application requirements: Personal Essay Official Transcripts Confidential Reference Form (see application) Send or turn-in the following to UI Study Abroad: KCP Application and additional application requirements as listed above UI Supplemental Application & Agreement (pdf) (UI Students only) Official transcripts from all universities and colleges that you have attended. Note: - If you are a UI student, use the UI Transcript Request form (pdf) to do this.  Please write "UI Study Abroad" in the "Mail to" box. 1 Passport size photo Disciplinary Clearance Form (pdf) (UI Students only) Transfer Credit Letter of Understanding (pdf)  (Non-UI Students only) A $425 application fee/deposit will be charged to your UI Student Account. Non-UI students should send a check payable to UI Bursar with their application. Preferred Application Deadlines:

Fall Extended:  Jan. 1 Fall only:  April 1 (suggested) Academic Year:  April 1 Spring Extended:  July 1 Winter only:  September 1 Spring only:  Oct. 15 (suggested) Summer Short: February 23 Summer: March 6 Note:  Some programs fill prior to the application deadlines.  Students should apply early to ensure a spot on the program.  Also, the UI Study Abroad Office will consider additional applicants after these deadlines provided space is still available on the program.

UI Refund Policies:

The $425 application fee is non-refundable The entire program fee is non-refundable if you cancel your program after the official program start date.
