***AustraLearn will waive their application fee for UI students. In order to have your AustraLearn application fee waived, you must see a Study Abroad Advisor BEFORE YOU APPLY.***

 

Steps to Applying to an AustraLearn Program:

Complete all AustraLearn application requirements found on their "How To Apply" websites below: Semester/Year Programs Summer/January Short-Term Programs Internship Programs Send or turn-in the following to UI Study Abroad: UI Supplemental Application & Agreement (pdf) 1 Passport size photo Disciplinary Clearance Form (pdf) (UI Students only) Transfer Credit Letter of Understanding (pdf)  (Non-UI students only) By Delivery: UI Study Abroad International Programs University of Idaho 901 Paradise Creek Street LLC Building # 3, Ground Floor Moscow, Idaho 83844-1250 By Regular Mail: UI Study Abroad International Programs University of Idaho P.O. Box 441250 Moscow, Idaho 83844-1250 UI Student Fees:

$150 application fee – charged to your UI student account when you apply. Note: Non-UI students should send a check payable to UI Bursar with their application. $400/semester, $250/summer UI registration/programming fee. Charged prior to your departure.

Preferred Application Deadlines:

Fall or Academic Year Programs: Deadlines range from March 1 - April 15. The UI Priority Application Deadline is April 1. Be sure to submit your application by the earliest deadline. Spring Programs: Deadlines range from September 1 - October 30. The UI Priority Application Deadline is October 15. Be sure to submit your application by the earliest deadline. Summer Programs: Deadlines range from February 15 - April 15. The UI Priority Application Deadline is April 1. Be sure to submit your application by the earliest deadline. January Short-Term Programs: Deadlines range from October 15 - October 31. The UI Priority Application Deadline is October 15. Be sure to submit your application by the earliest deadline. Check the EuroLearn websites below for your program's deadlines: Semester/Year Dates & Deadlines Summer/January Short-Term Dates & Deadlines Note:  Some programs fill prior to the application deadlines.  Students should apply early to ensure a spot on the program.  Also, the UI Study Abroad Office will consider additional applicants after these deadlines provided space is still available on the program.

UI Refund Policies:

The $150 application fee is non-refundable UI registration/programming fee is refundable if you withdraw from your program by the billing deadlines below. Non-refundable after these dates. Fall/Full-Year Programs: July 1st Spring Programs: December 1st Summer Programs: May 1st For your specific program fees, please refer to your program's refund policy on their website. If you experience any trouble accessing the necessary application forms, please do not hesitate to contact the Study Abroad Office at (208) 885-7870 or by e-mail at abroad@uidaho.edu.  It may be possible for you to pick up the application from our office or have one faxed or mailed to you.
