Below is a guide of courses you can take at various
international universities and receive UI credit in your major. In the first
column is listed the host university course and in the second column the UI
equivalent. A “000” number indicates this course is treated as an elective
course at UI. “UD” indicates it is an upper division course and “LD” indicates
it is a lower division course. Credits are listed if they have already been
posted by the Registrar’s Office on their website. If not, credit awarded for
equivalent courses should be the same as the credit offered on UI’s campus;
credit for elective “000” courses should follow the formula 15 classroom
contact hours = 1 UI credit. The information included on this page should be
used as a guide only. It is not a complete list of available courses or
equivalent credits. Always consult with the program or university to verify
that course offerings you are interested in will be available during the term(s)
you plan on studying abroad.
