Institutional Research Department Profiles

Institutional Research and Assessment analysts have
compiled information on a variety of topics. Each report contains five or
more years of historical data. A brief explanation of the data sources,
procedures and interpretation are provided with each Department Profile
topic. |

The Departmental Profile
reports serve many purposes: |

support the University’s leaders and strategic
planning processes to inform the decision-making processes |

provide basic institutional information to
decision makers |

provide productivity data on degrees awarded,
credit hours taught, student enrollments, retention, and graduation rates
and human resources

provide information and analysis for decision
support, assessment and evaluation |

facilitate continuous improvement practices
throughout the institution |

use with other data sources and national
studies, allowing for comparisons and analyses that support planning and
decision making |
