The TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR RURAL GROUND WATER DEVELOPMENT IN IDAHO project is a cooperative effort between the Idaho Water Resources Research Institute (IWRRI), the Idaho Geological Survey (IGS), and the University of Idaho. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency funded the two-year project to improve drinking water quantity and quality of rural community water systems in Idaho by providing hydrogeologic technical assistance. The program is in its second year and, pending additional funding, will expire in the fall of year 2003.
