Faculty Conversations with President White In an ongoing effort to improve communication lines between the faculty and administration, the Faculty Council leadership and President White have developed a series of small group conversations with faculty. Each conversation will be facilitated by a Faculty Council Committee member and will consist of 10-12 faculty. This is an opportunity for the President to hear what faculty are thinking and experiencing, and is an opportunity for faculty to ask questions as well; faculty are encouraged to speak freely.
All faculty are invited to volunteer to participate in these sessions. In addition to individual faculty volunteering to meet, we also encourage groups of faculty with similar interests to organize themselves and apply for a meeting with the president. In this case, groups may specify a topic of discussion. Groups that want to meet separately with the President should consist of 12-20 people. Self-formed groups smaller than 10 may be combined with other individual volunteers.
When volunteering to participate, please fill in the information requested below, including the rank order of your first three choices from the times listed. Return your response to annat@uidaho.edu. If you are requesting a group meeting, provide the information requested below for each participant and, if desired, please indicate the particular topic(s) you would like to discuss. Requests for times will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis.
