The
Environmental Science Program
offers a Professional Certificate in Environmental Contamination
Assessment completely online. This certificate is designed for working professionals,
statewide, nationally, and internationally, and provides background and
depth in the concepts and tools currently used in assessing environmental
contamination. The environmental contaminant assessment certificate will
lead to a significant depth of knowledge in environmental toxicology, risk
assessment, environmental sampling design/data analysis and reporting.
This certificate is consistent with an M.S. in
Environmental Science, the largest interdisciplinary program at the
University of Idaho. With graduate committee approval, graduate students may
include the certificate courses as part of their study plan. Non-degree
students can enhance their knowledge in this area without seeking a graduate
degree, and simultaneously build a strong foundation for a master's degree
at a future date. |
