     Read Edwards: Introduction, Chapter 1.

Lesson Description
This Module begins the Introduction to the concepts of Sustainability and Pollution Prevention. We first review the definitions of these terms and look at the current regulatory structure in the U.S.  We then review the basic pollution prevention cycle of reduce, reuse, recycle, treat and dispose.

Next, we cover the basic information on two important resource and waste streams: solid/hazardous waste and water.
