International Environmental Issues (EnvS 225)

White Paper

White Paper

Below you will find your White Paper country, environmental topic, and various contexts.  You will need to narrow both the country and topic into specifics for your Problem statement.  For instance, you will need to specify an exact location within the country (i.e., Port-au-Prince, Haiti), and exactly what aspect of your topic you are exploring (i.e., deforestation practices for the land/soil category).  It will depend on your own interests and the available research material for your country.  Environmental problems are impacted by many variables. Consider any of the contexts below for a better understanding of the background of your environmental issue, and for crafting your policy recommendation.
