contamination. The environmental contaminant assessment certificate will lead to a significant depth of
knowledge in environmental toxicology, risk assessment, environmental
sampling design/data analysis and reporting. The water science certificate
including emphases in water quality, hydrology, and water management and

program at the University of Idaho. With graduate committee approval,
graduate students may include the certificate courses as part of their
study plan. Non-degree student can enhance their knowledge in this area
without seeking a graduate degree, and simultaneously build a strong
foundation for a master's degree at a future date.

students must have completed an undergraduate degree in a related field
from an accredited institution. Course credits earned as an undergraduate
student may not be applied toward a certificate. Contact the certificate
