Communication

Q: What is Blackboard Discussion

A: Discussion forums are not real-time, but rather asynchronous tools used to communicate at any time of the day. As compared to chat rooms, longer more meaningful discussions can occur as they allow time to prepare your thoughts. The "Search" option allows you to search the content of the discussion groups based on various criteria suchs who wrote it, what the subject was, or what was written inside the post.

Q: What is Blackboard E-mail

A: Blackboard e-mail is similar to many other web based e-mail programs except that it is only used internally within this course. For course related questions and comments please use this method to communicate with Professor Lind or any other students in this course privately. For general questions use the discussion forum so that everyone can benefit.
