
MSG Daniel J. Frawley
Senior Military Instructor
MSG Daniel J. Frawley currently serves as the Senior Military Instructor at the University of Idaho, Moscow, Idaho.
MSG Frawley enlisted in the United States Army in August 1983. Following graduation from One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, he was assigned to Herzo Base, Federal Republic of Germany. There he served as Cannoneer, Special Weapons Assembler, Special Weapons Section Chief, Battalion Ammunition Platoon Sergeant and Howitzer Section Chief.
MSG Frawley served as an Army Recruiter from 1987 to 1990 in the New York City Recruiting Battalion. He then was assigned to the 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York. He served as Howitzer Section Chief, Gunnery Sergeant, and Chief of Firing Battery. He also served as the Civil/Military Operations Security NCOIC for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team in Cap-Haitian, Haiti during Operation Restore and Uphold Democracy.
From January 1997-April 1997, MSG Frawley attended and graduated from the Defense Equal Opportunity Advisor Course at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. He served as Equal Opportunity Advisor to the 44th Medical Brigade Commander, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In May 2000, MSG Frawley was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 321st Field Artillery Regiment, Fort Bragg, North Carolina as the Battalion Operations Sergeant. In November 2000, he was assigned as the First Sergeant Charlie Battery, 3rd Battalion, 321st Filed Artillery Regiment.
MSG Frawley is a graduate of the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer's Course, the Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer's Course, and the First Sergeants Course. He has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in History from Campbell University.
MSG Frawley assumed duties in February 2002.
MSG Frawley's awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (2 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Commendations Medal (4 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Achievement Medal (6 Oak Leaf Clusters), Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, United Nations Medal (Haiti), and the Gold Recruiter Badge.
MSG Frawley is married to the former Sandra C. Tempera, South Africa.
