Training
Contract Process. Contract process
training is available through Contracts and Purchasing at 885-6126.
He can provide the department/college contract representative
training on what the flow of a contract should be as well as
customizing a contract for a specific situation.
Crime Prevention and Personal Safety. Police
officers and resident advisor staff also present periodic
programs on security and personal safety in residence halls and
in fraternities and sororities. Workshops on subjects
which include acquaintance rape, sexual harassment, and effects
of alcohol and controlled substances are presented in student
living groups-university housing as well as fraternities and
sororities.
Emergency Management Operations Group
Training is the
Basic Incident Command training to provide an overview of the
Emergency Management Operations here at the University.

is document that can be a helpful tool.
Employees. Employees are informed
annually by mail about campus security polices and procedures
for reporting crimes and suspicious situations.
Sexual Assault Avoidance/Personal Safety
Awareness. The
University Dean of Students Office has received a grant to support a Violence Against
Women On Campus program, which includes participation by a
community response team. Violence Against Women On Campus also
provides educational
programs to University residence and the Greek residences.
The Women's Center offers programs to increase
awareness about sexual assault prevention.
